Our School Values
At Orana Catholic Primary School, each person is an integral part of a vibrant learning culture where everyone gives generously, shows respect and strives for excellence.

Generosity
Generosity is selflessly giving our time, effort and attention without expecting anything in return. Generosity is evident when:
- we are welcoming, inclusive and promote a sense of belonging
- we are thoughtful about the needs of others
- we notice when someone needs help
- we give freely without expecting a reward
Respect
Respect is honouring ourselves, the ideas, qualities and difference of others and our world. Respect is evident when:
- we treat others as we want to be treated
- we express feelings in a peaceful way
- we speak courteously to everyone
- we bring honour to ourselves, our families and our school
- we recognise the achievements of each person
- we build positive relationships
- we show equal justice and fairness
Excellence
Excellence is nurturing a spirit of determination and persistence to continually strive to be the best version of ourselves. Excellence is evident when:

Sacrament Programme for 2026
Sacraments in our Parish will be family-focused, Parish-based and school-supported. All parents wishing to have their children receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion or Confirmation in the Parish are required to attend an Adult Formation evening at 7.00pm at Orana Catholic Primary School.
These occur on the following dates:
- First Holy Communion Parent Meeting (Year 4 Parents) - Thursday, 7th May
- Confirmation Meeting (Year 6 Parents) - Thursday, 30th July
- Penance Meeting (Year 3 Parents) - Thursday, 17th September
Sacrament Enrolment Weekend: 7th March 5.30pm Mass or 8th March 10.30am Mass
If your child is receiving a Sacrament this year, you and your child are required to attend one of the above masses and collect an enrolment form after Mass in the Parish Hall. Regardless of the school your child attends, you will need to enrol with the Parish for each Sacrament.
