Welcome to Orana Catholic Primary School.
We, in the Orana Community, consider it our privilege to be involved in the education of your child. We are a friendly school and this is evident when you enter our gates. We pride ourselves on working with our families to develop a true community feel within our school. At Orana we welcome everyone and provide a just and harmonious education where the dignity and worth of every person is nurtured. We endeavour to provide diverse learning experiences that develop the whole child and encourage lifelong learning.
As the Parish school for Sts John and Paul Willetton, we strive to provide our students with a well-rounded Catholic education in a safe, caring community, in the tradition of the Loreto Sisters who founded our school. We take responsibility for contributing to an equitable and harmonious community by living and promoting the values of Generosity, Respect and Excellence.
Established in 1980, today Orana is a double stream school with an enrolment of approximately 440 students. As an Apple Distinguished school, the staff at Orana have shown that they demonstrate the five best practices of an Apple Distinguished School: visionary leadership, innovative learning and teaching, ongoing professional learning, compelling evidence of success, and a flexible learning environment – ensuring that all students are prepared for future success in work and life and that each new day is a new adventure!
